Studierende haben nach der Lehrveranstaltung ein solides Basiswissen über den Bereich "Infectious Disease Control". Sie können den Stellenwert von präventiven Massnahmen und Therapien im Bereich Infektiologie einschätzen und neue Entwicklungen auf diesem Gebiet beurteilen.
Infectious Disease Control: Allgemeine Aspekte und Massnahmen, Impfungen, Virostatika, Antibiotika, Anti-fungale und antiparasitische Medikamente, nosokomiale Infektionen, Hygienemassnahmen.
