Students master the theoretical foundations of nonlinear finite element methods (FEM) and are capable of the FEM for numerical simulation of the structural behavior flat and spatial structures until the occurrence of the failure of practical problems apply.

Demonstration of solving practical problems for nonlinear stability calculations with a finite element program (load calculations); Guide the students to independently solve such tasks and interpret the numerical calculation results.
